Solitaire Collection will not load after April 2018 Windows Update

I cannot connect to Solitaire Collection since updating the April 2018 Windows 10 update. Error 121003 pops up but according to xBox and Microsoft this code doesn't even exist. It also says I am not connected to the Internet which is not true. I am able
to connect and play Mahjong with no issues at all so what's the deal with Solitaire?

have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. have rest the windows store several times.

have cleaned the registry of all Microsoft solitaire collection entries. my games in xbox shows

i have paid for the premium and goo till Dec. 2018. any ideals how to get the premium subscription

working on the new spring update?

Microsoft Solitaire Collection not working since Windows April 2018 Release. The "Splash" screen comes up for a second or two, the disappears, no error code. I have followed the instructions to Unistall and Reinstall from Windows Store, thw Store say's I
already "Own" it. I've tried the Trouble shooter, Resetting etc. Still no luck.

 

I am having the same issue after the April 2018 Windows 10 update on my laptop. I had also seen this on my tablet, but it will eventually work itself out on my tablet. Sometimes I just have to delete the app and reload to get it to work on my tablet.
If I delete the app from my laptop and reload, it will eventually work. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago on my tablet and immediately after the Win 10 4/2018 update on my laptop. And despite the notification to find the meaning of this error
code on the Faq sheet, it is not there nor can it be found on the XBox site.

 

Same problem here with the Solitaire Collection. It started crashing on May 1st. Before that it was the Ultimate Word Games that quit working for almost two weeks.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Solitaire with no success as yet. Haven't tried the Mahjong since uninstalling it over a year ago over a similar connection problem.

BTW, I DO NOT have Premium Edition. So, I have no idea why that showed up when it tried to login this last time.

Tried this on several computers but the one that is having the most issues is the Win 10 Pro computer

 

Same here ... After the current Win 10 Home update (1804) I am getting the same error message or 121010. When this happens the computer almost completely locks up (in reality it slows to a crawl). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling
with the same results. Like you, it says I have no Internet connection, which is totally false.

I checked my FW and AV … even let Microsoft Solitaire pass uninhibited with the same results.

Frustrating as MS says that the error codes are not valid yet they are produced as the example in this thread.

I hope that MS gets back to us

 

When is Microsoft going to address this fault? I've been reading loads of complaints regarding this issue and some date back quite some time. This happens every time there's a Windows 10 update. For me, there is no error code - nothing. The blue start
screen shows for a few seconds then it turns white (sometimes black) and then it just stays like that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, reset the app and tried to see if there are other ways to access it, but to no avail. On the odd occasion that some geezer
from the Microsoft helpdesk does decide to answer, the advice he or she gives is useless. When is Microsoft going to actually do something about this? Surely they must know how annoying this is to all of us who it has affected! It may be no big deal for
them, but it is to us. Get your finger out Microsoft and fix this problem once and for all.

 

I have had the same problem since the April 2018 Windows updated a couple days ago. The Solitaire Collection updated last night, but nothing changed. I still get the same 121003 error code! VERY FRUSTRATING!

 

Same here ... this has happened after every W10 update. I reinstall, reset .... complained on Twitter, complained online at the store ... nothing helps .... It eventually starts working again when MS updates or sends a patch. The one reason I will not buy
MS Games ... they don't always work.

 

Since the update to Windows 1804 we have been on several PC's, not at all, even this problem.

My workaround (randomly found): Immediately after starting solitaire on the desktop bring another window to the foreground, and wait until the synchronization is complete. If the Solitaire window is in the foreground when connecting, it will typically crash.

I hope, however, that Microsoft will fix this error soon!

 

Same here. The first time I couldn't play Daily challenges I updated the April 2018 windows 10. It worked for a few days than another update that automatically updated on my computer made my game stop again. But after the April update it didn't play right.
It kept loading while playing the game. This sucks

I have no idea what you did to MS Solitaire but they were far better before the "upgrade" please change it back.
