Solitaire Collection Daily Challenges "Download Error" Jan 1st 2022 Android

I can't access the Daily challenges any more - they worked fine yesterday.

I keep getting the message " Download Error - An error occurred whentying to download data from our servers.Please check your internet connection and try again"

However internet connection is fine - I can access my account, the current event, leaderboards , star club and basic games.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app from Play store but still have the same problem.

I've got a premium subscription at the moment and now can't access past daily challenges either.

Help would be most appreciated,

I see some people have reported that it's working for them now, however its still not working for me here in Indiana.

I have reported it (probably along with thousands worldwide). People need to know that this has nothing to do with their devices. It is on Microsoft alone. The same issue happened last year at the turn of the new year and it took MS a week to fix it. No amount of resetting or updating things on your devices will help.

Same here in UK. But it cannot be related to the main software because I can still get onto and play the other games within the Solitaire suite - it is only the daily challenge that is affected.

I am surprised that there is no-one from microsoft looking at this and giving some response.

I'm in the UK using Android and can also play everything else - tried to report it using the link in jesse E post above and it said that the offices are closed until Jan 2nd.......

Suppose we'll just have to wait.

I'm having the same annoying problem - in the UK and trying on W11 (laptop) and my iPad. Only the Daily Challenge is affected.

It's good to know that it's not just me!
