Social Matchmaking not working

Anyone else noticed they are unable to find any social matches for Gears of War 2?

I used to be able to select social matchmaking but since I'm all the way down in New Zealand, it would just autofill with bots (which was fine). Now it just searches forever...

Really annoying since I am only a few matches away from earning the 'Beat the meatflag' and 'Annex: now with execution rules' achievements. Could it be because I'm in New Zealand?

Matchmaking not working

Hi ,

I have not been able to do match making for the past 2 days . I have not tried any other game other than Gears III as sold them . Is there any issue with the server .. ?

Matchmaking not working

Matchmaking seems to not be working on Xbox One, specifically in Destiny. It was working fine until about a week ago when, doing strikes and matchmaking, I don't get paired with anyone and sent in alone. In fact, I don't seem to see anyone in the game world,
so there's obviously an issue. I tried restarting my Xbox, doing a power cycle, etc., but nothing seems to work. Is there a known issue or can this be fixed somehow?

no man... i think the servers are shutting down.. to bad..but u can add me so we can play co-op, horde, and versus but only in private mode

They JUST fixed it a few hours ago, and it's down again.

Go to "Matchmaking".

Select a Playlist, probably "Social Slayer".

.

Press 'A' on the 'Start Matchmaking' area, and leave it there until you get a game : )

As much as I've enjoyed Destiny, and as great as TTK is looking (at least if the hype talk is accurate), there's a good chance I'll pass on it just because of the limited matchmaking options. I suspect I'm not the
only one.

There is a 100% chance I will pass. I haven't played since a few weeks after PoE released. Matchmaking is the biggest of a list of reasons I just stopped.

Bungie stated that Destiny was a "big social experiment"... and it looks like that's all it is in some respects. Matchmaking for some parts, not for others = inconsistent planning IMO.

I'm not the most social person out there, but I'd say I'm definitely not anti-social by any means. Some nights, I don't mind playing with friends, be it a lot or a few. Other times I just prefer to go it alone. Any game that basically pigeon holes me into
a mode I may or may not want to play, based on whether I'm playing solo or not, is inconsistently planned.

Saying 'you have to get together with friends, or go hunt randoms down' is a pretty narrow definition of social if you ask me.

Being social should be a little easier than "I have to be in a group with my friends to play [mode]" *Disclaimer: Number of people varies according to activity

Being social should definitely be easier than hanging around in a 'social area' and bugging people, who may or may not already be in a group, to go do a raid or certain levels of the PoE.

Being social means having the ability to interact with both people you know and people you don't. Funny thing about being social... matchmaking promotes it, no matter if you find yourself with a friend or solo.
