So will Mojang ever get more Minecraft Windows 10 codes that they owe us?

I was hyped about getting the Ray-Tracing version of Minecraft, as I am owed a free copy of the Windows 10 Minecraft (I bought the original Minecraft back when it was still a beta game).

Yes, I migrated my account. I'm all set up, but clicking on the link for my code gives this:

Error! It looks like we've temporarily run out of gift codes for Minecraft for Windows 10. Don't worry though, more codes should be on their way. Please check back later!

From what I can tell from other posts, it looks like this is an ongoing issue for months now. I just need to know if Mojang is actually going to get more codes in the future, or if this is a "Don't bother, we're not giving it to
you" message that I'm not reading right.

I'm beyond angry at this point, as this seems like a simply clerical issue that could be handled in a few emails between Mojang and Microsoft, but I get the feeling that this is permanent and I just missed my chance.

Is there any hope for my free code, or should I just give up?

Email the support address on the Mojang website, and submit proof you qualify for the free code. I did eventually get my code, after three weeks and two emails.

Also MC Win10 is trash compared to Java, as it turns out - I only got it so I can get the ray-tracing version when it comes out.

It's been over two weeks and nothing, other than the "we got your email" response. I guess I could try to send them another email?

I followed your steps and found that Support isn't available right now. There's no way to have someone call me, and they suggest I post on the forums instead - so now we're right back to here.

Try again on a business time. For billing problems it's the best way.
