So when is the full Insanity workout coming?

P90X is finally there, I'm hoping Insanity comes at least before November when the free Fitness Gold thing ends?

I originally bought an Xbox One over the PS4 just because I do Insanity and thought Kinect would give me more motivation to not get lazy with it. However I've found myself just using the DVD because they only had 1 workout originally and now 3. Also Kinect
adds nothing to the experience, it is just a scoring system, you get no feedback and Kinect doesn't recognise your position correctly. Sometimes when doing push ups it loses me, my dog walks past and it loses me, you don't even have to do the proper actions
and it registers it as doing it well and the heartbeat thing just flat out never works.

Does the P90X Full workout fix these issues? Does it feel more tailored to Kinect?

If it does, when is the full Insanity workout coming?

Kinda disappointed that they only have two p90x workouts. I was under the impression it was going to be the full system (same with insanity). Does anyone know if they will be adding the remaining p90x and insanity videos to XBox Fitness?

 

P90X for Xbox Fitness does feel more tailored to Kinect in the sense that they recorded it specifically for Xbox Fitness and the instructor references Xbox and Xbox Fitness points all the time. But from a technical standpoint, it is what it is. You'll have
to put in effort yourself.

Kinect has limitations: it can only see you from one side, you have to be at a certain distance for things to work optimally, there is a lag from processing data, most people don't have as much space as you would need for Kinect to really work optimally.
Considering all the limitations I think they are doing a decent job. Yes, I could do other moves sometimes and it still registers, but rather have that than me actually putting in effort and not being registered at all. Yes, Kinect loses me sometimes too when
I am close to the ground, in that case I either just finish what I am doing and don't worry about the points for that part or quickly get up and wave my hands. At least it doesn't take you out of the game.

For me the scoring does keep me more motivated. But if for you scoring/tracking doesn't do it I'd honestly just stick to the DVDs if you are already happy with that.

Nothing has been announced yet about more Insanity, would certainly be a nice addition.

 

I really hope they do a Wireless Kinect, I doubt they will though, would just be so nice to be able to have the Xbox One in a separate room to where you do exercise. My TV is on the wall in the Kitchen (only place I have room to do Fitness) and I couldn't
find any extension cables (which would be annoying anyways) so I have to bring my Xbox One into the Kitchen to be able to do it.......... If I can play game from a server with no latency, they could have made a wireless Kinect with none for sure.

The problem with the scoring is there is no sense of competition, the average when I look is like 20-30K for my gender and age group, yet I'm getting 132k average and tbh everyone should be getting around there just for completing it. I think most people
do 10 mins and give up, they need to only count people who have completed the workout.

 

Any news on if it is coming out for Xbox Fitness?

Although someone in another thread said he bought it and couldn't play it yet. May be wise to wait a day or two. It just released, these kind of issues happened with other new DLCs too.

 

I logged on today and Insanity for XBox Fitness is available. Unfortunately it looks like you can only purchase it from within the game as I cannot find in on Smart Glass or XBox.com

 

I purchased it through Smartglass last night and played the first workout today. Things may be different for different regions, but searching for 'Insanity' seems to do the trick if it doesn't show up in newest addons.
