So my account was charged for a game I didn't receive try contacting Xbox technical support...

It has nothing to do with that, you try to access again if they charged you for the item and they don't let you in if you will have to contact xbox technical support to check what happens

This looks like you might actually have to contact Epic Games Support for this issue. If the account is not in a family group that could be why you are not receiving any emails from Xbox, but you may be receiving them from Epic Games.

For the Xbox side of things, you can try xbox.com/privacy or try changing (temporarily) the birthday of the account to be over 18 to prevent the account from being deleted, however I doubt this will work because this is referring to an Epic Games account, not an Xbox Account.

BooBear918, last time I called support for a billing issue they explained the charge process to me. It was something along the lines of even if you sub renewed on 7/1 you are not billed until the bill date on your account which varies from account to account.
so if your bill date was the 30th of the month and you cancelled on the 28th of last month, you would still get charged the $9.99.

I would contact support via phone if you are worried that you got charged an extra month of gold and didn't receive it.

Thanks for getting back to us. In that case, I would recommend contacting Xbox Support and explaining them how you were charged for the game, but didn't receive it. Just go under payment issues, buying games, payment and billing.
