    Did you start with Morrowind or Oblivion Or before both?

    I've only played Oblivion so far; it was one of the first games I played when I got my Xbox 360.

    it will clear the 360 profile from the Xbox One. Not the main profile.

    When you next run a 360 game on your Xbox One, your console will download this profile again.

    I had this problem for several months and now I solved by going into my old Xbox 360, downloaded the profile there. After this, I was able to download profile when playing Xbox 360 games in my Xbox One.

    I have not been able to play the game since the first install when it became free for XLive Gold so I don't think I have any saved files stored in the cloud. But, I'm interested in looking into your suggestion about xbox 360 profile. First is, I thought
    my Xbox One profile is my only profile on my Xbox One console. If I do have a separate Xbox 360 profile on the same console, how do I erase it & download the latest Xbox 360 profile to my Xbox One, hopefully without affecting my Xbox One profile?

    Thanks for coming to the forums. I recommend updating your 360 profile. When you are adding the payment instrument it is on the Xbox one so it isn't updating the 360 profile. To do this follow these steps:

    1. Launch a 360 game on Xbox one.

    2. Hit the menu and back button together to pull up the 360 emulator.

    3. go to download profile even if your profile shows.

    4. enter the credentials for your account.

    This updates the 360 profile, personally had the same issue as you couldn't launch any BC game. Soon as I did this I was able to play. Try this and let us know.
