So is it ok to have 3 out of the 5 ports on the back plugged in or is it bad for my Xbox s

That shouldn’t be a problem at all, Kyran.

I would double check to make sure you have the cable plugged into the "HDMI OUT" port on the back of the XBOX One S, and not the "HDMI IN" port.

It could be any of those 3 things mentioned. The play-and-charge cable might be broken, the micro usb port could be faulty, or a bad update. I had similar issues and in my case(s) it was the cable itself and also a bad update that broke one controller(only
worked when plugged in after update). I had received a replacement controller with a bad micro usb port as well, so test it on a spare controller.

Ok, I have a few questions for you.

1. Which type of console do you have? (S, E or FAT)

2. Have you previously tried to manually adjust your sensor?

3. Do you have an adapter for the sensor and, if so, is it plugged into a wall socket or power bar?

4. Which USB port is the sensor plugged into?

Yesterday I purchased a Play and Charge Kit, the doco mentioned a LED on the controller Connection. When I plug it into the Front port of the XBOX One S it flashes once orange and goes out. The controller does vibrate. I presumed the was a fault,
so I took it back to the store, along with my controller, as soon as they plugged it into their XBOX One s It worked fine. I Took it back home and same issue.

As the Controller and Charge pack work fine on another XBOX One S, do I have a faulty unit ????

• Plug the cable into the back of the xbox

• Check the usb port on the xbox and see if another controller will work with same setup
