Let's first verify and repair your game files.
Open the Xbox app for Windows.
In My Library, select the game title.
Select the More options (…) button and choose Manage.
Select Files and then Verify and repair.
Try again to launch your games.

If we're getting the same issue, I suggest as well that you check for your Windows updates and get all updates available from your Microsoft Store.

I had to download it 5 or 6 times before mine would work....... It works fine now

Getting the same error a lot in PC Game Pass when I tried to play Persona 5 Royal. Uninstalled the game and re downloaded the game but now not even that is working. When I hit the Install button it tried to install and download but then it stops just as quickly as I pressed install. I should note I had the game pre installed when the game first popped up as coming soon so I would be able to play it sooner. I noticed the first time an error happened was downloading the update for the game before all this happened and it failed to download it.

1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.

2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.

3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.

4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

Dude! Fub. On the xbox .com you click forza and then more info then there is a way to get the demo from there now. just click to purchase it and then go to your active downloads on the console. find it. and then download now. its 1.57 GB and im downloading
