So i own call of duty MW3 and MW2 but can't play them

Yes, you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) without leaving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2). They are both independent games and you don't need to stop playing one to play the other. In addition, MW3 multiplayer will allow you to carry weapons from MW2, in addition to being able to unlock Modern Warfare 2 weapons in MW3. This means you can use the best MW2 weapons in both games.

Additionally, if you are playing on the same platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation, PC), your progress and achievements in MW2 will not be affected when playing MW3. However, keep in mind that each game has its own separate progression and achievements.

It's actually a lot more balenced then Mw2. Probably more than any other Call of Duty. The Spec Ops is pretty cool so far, plus the survival mode. I haven't played the campaign yet, but if you were into the campaign for Mw2, then you'll love Mw3.

I loved all Call of dutys up till MW2, MW2 was horrendous. Black Ops was good and MW3 seems very bad too.

If they made it where MW3 maps could be played on MW2 im pretty much sure fewer people would buy MW3. I agree with you about continuing to support older Call of Duty titles though, it's not like they are hard at work bringing tons of innovation to the new
Call of Duty titles they release.
