The game is only playable on Xbox Series X|S console is because the game is a next gen game which is it needs to be play on high or advance specs device like Xbox Series X|S console.

The game require cloud gaming due to its significant installation size, which can cause lengthy download sometimes, expensive fees from metered internet services, and storage spaces issue. The saved data will be stored in the cloud, so if you play later on a different device your progress will be transfer.

I know there is a section about this but It only say about having 2 Xbox which isnt my case so the other Xbox must be the one o is playing starfield in the cloud

Hi there. I have an Xbox One S and Game Pass Ultimate but it says Starfield is not compatible. I thought I can still play it through the Cloud Gaming service but it doesn't seem to be working.

Like i said,it will only run on the current gen consoles,the Series X/S.

The older gen consoles don't have the hardware to run Starfield.

The Xbox One X is a last gen console.Skyrim works as it was made for the Xbox 360 & upgraded to run on Xbox One consoles.

If you want to play Starfield the4n you'll either need to buy a Xbox Series X or S or play it via the cloud if you can.

It's been known that Starfield will only play on current gen consoles for quite a while.

You say that you want to get them an Xbox S for christmas. Just know that there are different consoles that you might be referring to.

There is the Xbox One S which is the prior generation of console. Xbox One S

There is also the newest generation of console. The Xbox Series S This newer one does not have a disc drive so it can only play games that are downloaded to it. It cannot play games from discs.
