so i have a xbox game pass subscription

so i have a xbox game pass subscription that costs 45 dollars for 3 months and i want to change it to a 15 dollar for 1 month subscription, but i cant change the plan or cancel the scription. this is making me very frustrated because i cant play nothing
on the xbox. If i cant get help ill have no other choice but to quit

As the Ambassadors have previously mentioned, If you are currently paying for these subscriptions on a monthly basis then you would want to complete the purchase for the Game Pass ultimate subscription so that it converts your outstanding time on the Live
and Game pass subscriptions and adds it to your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription time.

i might have a clue on what happened here,

when i go to Services & subscriptions' page, on my microsoft account, below the Xbox Live Gold's subscription section, it says:

Enjoy the benefits of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold Upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

so maybe my xbox live gold subscription is turned into a Gold + Game pass subscription, but how? I haven't done anything...

Game Pass Core is just an online subscription, so if you purchase Game Pass for Xbox, you do not lose Game Pass Core, you will have both subscriptions at the same time. If you cancel Game Pass Core, then you will lose your Xbox One/Series X|S Games with Gold Games.

The option you have now is to upgrade your Game Pass for Console to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate so you can have access to the game pass library as well as play online multiplayer games.

Or you can buy an individual Xbox Live Gold subscription.

You can also cancel the subscription, then check the option "cancel and refund immediately" so you can get the correct subscription that you would like.
