Unfortunately, all Xbox refunds are credited to the payment method used in the original transaction. Changing/choosing the payment method to which you want the funds credited, is not possible.

No, it is not possible, unfortunately. If you where to get a refund it will be a full refund with the same payment method you brought it with for example if you brought it using a credit/debit card you will get the refund back to that card if you brought
it with a pre-paid card you will get the refund put into your Microsoft account.

You would with the refund be able to buy a one-month subscription of Game Pass Ultimate and if you had any money left are you would be able to buy a game.

You need to request a call back from the phone support first.

They are the only ones who can help you with that issue.

But cause of corona and holidays you sure need some patience !

Ok so I tried it this morning and it brought up a buy option with an old credit card that I removed off my Microsoft account. I looked at other games if it would pop up too and it seems like only xbox 360 games are affected by this as buying an xbox one
game brings up the get started payment option.

Now I decided to go back on my xbox 360 to remove the card. Trying to remove the card brings up a xbox live error message with the status code: 80190195

I don't want a purchase refunded. I want an erroneous charge on my credit card and an erroneous use of existing money on my account reversed.
