    To better assist you, could you elaborate on what kind of connection issue you are having with your Xbox 360? Is it not connecting to the network/Xbox Live and is there any kind of error code that appears?

    In the mean time, please feel free to look at some of
    these support articles from Xbox.com     - hopefully there will be something that kick starts your console.

    If none of these solutions work, I would return to the point of purchase and ask someone to look into things, or offer you an exchange for another Xbox 360, if there are any in stock.

    Xbox controller dies every 5 minutes

    When i bought my xbox one x brand new it the controller kept dying so i updated the controller software and no problems now so this can really help alot of problems. But yeah if that doesnt work then contact xbox, ive never had a problem with any gaming
    company replacing or fixing stuff for free even if i got it at pawn shop

    If You Bought RockBand 3 in the Xbox Store it No Longer Works, Even if You have it Installed.

    You can buy the games second hand from EBGames, WeBuy and any pawn shop. I just got a copy of RockBand 3 for Xbox360 from the Australian WeBuy store. Though of course, this still means your initial outlay will not be refunded.
