    So I am trying the Xbox insiders app


    hello, I wanted to try out the cloud gaming on the Xbox app. so I installed Xbox insiders and joined the windows gaming preview, but for some reason even after I updated my Xbox app the cloud gaming option wont pop up. Is there any reason why?

    Ok, so, the app preview mustn't be available for your insider level right now. I advise you to try to report this on the Insiders hub app on your PC to the insiders team. :)

    Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

    Please try the following:

    - Start ---> Run "shell:AppsFolder"

    This will open the hidden app folder inside Windows.

    Once that folder is open, find the Xbox app inside it and place the app into the Windows taskbar.

    - Hold CTRL+SHIFT and click on the Xbox icon you just moved to the taskbar to start the Xbox app in administrator mode.

    You should be able to install the game you want with no further issue

    I downloaded the xbox insider hub app on the xbox console. That seems to work. Thank you.

    Another question though, am I not able to turn on and off the xbox through the xbox app on my windows machine? The old console companion would let me do so.
