yes, try and set it as home Console and retry playing the game, it suppose to work that way because i also encounter the error but now finally working fine for me after setting it as home console.

I did it, didn't work.

Again it only works well connected via USB.

I'm gonna get rid of it this is supposed to be a premium controller and is worst than the normal 60$ xbox controller which I have 3 and works perfectly even after 4 years.

Ah, I see, thank you very much it works now, I also figured out the paypal. I found a way to work around it by buying off the store instead of my xbox. Thank you so much now I can finally use the 100 euro after 1 year.

I am also having a similar problem, I turn my console on along w/ the controller & after it boots up I go to do an action and I nothing happens. Now before I came here I have tried all the connectivity workarounds for the controller thats on the site and
nothing worked. Also a side note my kinect works perfectly fine I can navigate w/ no problem but my controller does not work & yes it is synched up to the console. Final thing to add that I've noticed is when I do boot up my console it is supposed to auto
sign in but doesn't the 1st time but after I re-boot the console to get the controller to work it auto signs in. Please any help would be appreciated.

you can try forwarding the ports that xbox live service uses on your router to see if that makes any difference.
