Sniper elite 5 - rifle scope stopped appearing

Issue description

When clicking LB on my controller the scope no longer appears

Xbox s

2 Was I able to ever play this game with rifle scope using aim(LB)?

Yes. I played the entire game with all the missions without a glitch a few months back.

Them I bought this game on Aug 25,2023 and I was also able to play without this issue till Aug 27,2023

3 What troubleshooting steps have I tried?

Restarted the game

Restarted my Xbox s

Reduced resolution

Tried attaching different scopes to my rifle

Checked if scope not appearing issue only happened in one mission or all missions

Checked for the issue in Gun range

Checked my controller layout to see if any changes were accidentally made

It has been 2 days and I have not been able to play this game because of this issue.

Can someone please advise how to resolve this?

Yes. I tried to uninstall and reinstalled it.

It still didn't fix the issue

I just bought the game. Is there a way to ask Xbox or rebellion game for compensation?

I like that treyarch tried to stop it, but not to sure I liked their approach. It wasnt about holding your breath. The sniper rifles were made to scope in slightly off target and you had to adjust your aim once scoped in.

The problem with this was that in this game even a normal sniper needs to be able to aim and fire quickly at times too. Not qsing, just being able to scope in accurately and quickly. It was supposed to be random, but after several months it started to
look to me like it would be an easy apttern to adapt to. If someone mixed their weapons up a bit and used an ar, or smg and occasionally a sniper rifle it was hard to catch on. But if someone used a sniper rifle constantly I think it would be fairly easy to
figure out.

This indeed did hinder qses, but it hindered a normal sniper even more.

The way I see it, in order to balance snipers rifles, they should only do full damage when fully scoped in, eg, damage is increased x3 when scoped in, (that's the way some fps mp games have it, why not CoD) otherwise it will never be one hit KO, this elimintates
any no scopes, quick scope or any of this showboating sniper rifle crap. Thus making sniper rifles used the way they should be used. Little kiddies can go home and cry about it but hey....thats life ;-)

The m16a4 with rifle scope and laser is a good sniper deterrent but the scope is obviously all but useless on small maps
