Snap sidebar shows wrong game name

Hi everyone,

Small issue. Purchased Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition. Been playing since it came out yesterday, great game. I'm having an odd issue though.

On my home screen, the game name shows up fine as: "Forza Horizon 4". However, on the snap sidebar, it shows up as: "Forza Horizon 4 Demo". I deleted the demo before i launched the full game for the first time. When I launch the game from the sidebar, it
launches the full game.

Multiple hard resets have had no effect. Thinking i might have to delete and reinstall the game unfortunately.

Anybody ever have an issue like this?

Xbox ones says i have not played any games under the achievements section.

Exact same problem. Definitely not alone here. The snap sidebar shows it fine, but not on profile. Also, it doesn't show on Windows 10 app.

game freezes just before game starts and shows a hack sidebar on the screen anybody know how to fix this so i can play

 

It happens sometimes when the demo was used before purchasing the game. Try to delete the game, hard restart the console and download the game again. It worked so far and hope it will work for you as well.

 

Deleted the game, hard reset, and reinstalled. Still showing demo! I can't win!

I would suggest trying a
Soft Factory Reset if
your sidebar still shows the game as the demo.



Generally when that happens, it could be the operating system is having some technical difficulties.

Side Note:
It is
very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing
it from the console.



To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;in middle column at the
top it will say "show on home" if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag
and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.

Just did a soft factory reset, and I'm still having the same problem. Was hoping that would be it.
