With a SmartRG modem you will need to turn on UPnP to have an open NAT. By default it is not turned on. You'll have to contact your ISP and request it. That also goes for almost any other router. Usually enabling UPnP will change your NAT setting from
moderate or strict, to open.

FYI: Unfortunately there is no solution to a wireless connection for this specific gateway and your Xbox 360 Slim. These two devices cannot communicate through a wireless connection. You can only get this to work using an Ethernet cable. So from now on,
use only a wired connection
