    Known Issues

    I changed now my connection i take a repeater and with cable i make the connection to my xbox360.

    Now the xbox did find the network automatically but it also blocks on the 3rd step Internet ---> XboxLive

    I got a new Cisco DPC3939 from Comcast this afternoon. I was able to successfully connect to XBox Live with my XBox 360 after the modem/gateway was up and running. Two hours later, after having changed nothing, I tried to login to Xbox Live from the same
    Xbox 360 and consistently got a DNS related error when testing the wireless network connection. We chatted with a Comcast support technician. She changed our modem/gateway channel number and resynced the modem/gateway with the network. We then restarted
    the XBox 360 and tried connecting to XBox Live. It worked!!

    We'll see if this permanently solves the issue. BTW, I had done all of the things DylanAndDad11 tried. In my case, changing the channel number on the modem/gateway worked. Hope this helps.

    Known Issues

    I get this message when trying to do port forwarding for 3074:

    "The defined rule is in use by another Port Forwarding, applications or UPNP rule. You must remove the rule before the new rule can be applied."

    I do not have any rules listed for applications or UPNP. Port fowarding for 3074 does work for TCP but not for UDP or TCP/UDP.

    Also, when setting the port forwarding there is a drop-down menu for the WAN interface. Do I stay with the default ADSL or change it to either VSDL_DEFAULT or ETHERNET?

    I am using the ZyXEL VSG1432-B101 router.

    Hey Legacyz Jay, as stated above by XB1R Zeus:

    "Lag and intermittent disconnections may occur, with no permanent fix known at this time. We are currently working with Comcast towards a resolution.

    High Firewall settings on this device can cause a number of errors on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. We have seen "High packet loss" errors on the Xbox One and several potential errors on the 360 including "MTU", "Internet error", "Live connection".
    Should any of these errors occur we suggest disabling or setting the firewall to low.

    XB1R HADES: Update: (12/24/2014): At this time there is currently no guaranteed fix for these issues and there may not be a fix for some time. This is a firmware issue with the device and not something that Xbox can fix on our end. At this time the best
    suggestion we can make would be to replace the gateway with a different brand. Currently the Arris gateways also share similar issues as well."

    The only way to fix the disconnection issue with the Technicolor TC8305C is to get it replaced with a non-Technicolor, non-Arris device.
