    SmartGlass Windows 8.1


    I am completely lost on why every device I have smartglass one connects (iPad, Iphone) except my Windows 8.1 machine? All on the same network. I get this generic 0X800000001f We cannot connect to the console right now? I have it IPV4 since I heard there
    were issues with IPV6 and XBox one.

    UPnP is enabled on router, I have reserved the IP address for the xbox one. The xbox one connects fine NAT, I can play all my games and multiplayer.

    Any ideas?

    Smartglass stopped connecting to my xbox 360 on my windows 8.1 netbook about 4 months ago. I waited for an update that would fix it but its still broken.

    My Xbox One SmartGlass app won't even start on my PC(Windows 8.1). It show the startup screen with the logo on, and paaaw the app shuts down. Any suggestions?

    It's probably easier to just sign out on Windows 8.1 and log back in there with the same Microsoft Account you use on Xbox 360, if all you want to do is access Smartglass.

    Just to rule out the one reason that made it not work for me: Are you using the "Xbox One Smartglass" app on your Windows 8.1? It's a different, new app to the old Smartglass app you used to connect to your Xbox 360.

    I am having the exact same issue. MY windows 8.1 computer and Samsung note 2 are both on wifi. them and console are logged into the account and Smartglass wont connect w console. arrrrg
