    Smartglass app cannot display activity alerts


    The Smartglass app is unable to display activity alerts - this is the case on both my iPhone and iPad. The alerts button has a little icon in the top right corner with a number indicating how many alerts I have; however, when I click it I get the message
    "Sorry, we are unable retrieve your activity alerts at the moment. Try again in a while." This has been the case for a long time now; I had assumed it was a bug but it seems nobody else is having this problem. Please can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks

    Hello Jon,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the Xbox Smartglass in reference to the notifications displaying any alerts of activity.

    This would be due to the application not receiving any updates as it's
    retirement     was announced on May 18, 2018. This also means there is no support available for the application, as everything has now shifted over
    to the Xbox application.

    Have a look through both provided articles, and let us know if this was helpful.

    Have you checked for an update?

    Also, have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

    I deleted and reinstalled the app this evening - the issue persists unfortunately.

    Sorry - that's the app I meant - I didn't realise it wasn't called smartglass anymore. I am running the Xbox app version 1810.1205.1548.

    For clarification, are you looking at your Activity Alerts on your SmartGlass app first before you go to your Xbox One console? Can you post what version number the SmartGlass app you're using?
