    Smart glass Tv Remote is no longer display


    Using the Smart Glass switch the remote from XBOX to TV remote, and the Tv Remote doesn't display

    XBox One Smartglass Remote Functionality Inop across Multiple platforms

    I'm not using it during gaming. Usually I will use it to bring up a context menu while watching TV. When my smart glass flips to the remote none of the buttons are working. This his true of my win phone and win 8.1 app. All other functions of the smart glass
    work, just not the buttons of the remote. Is there something I may have done to my Xbox to prevent smartglass from allowing button emulation?

    With Xbox one, I think it would be great if your smart glass device could eliminate the tv remote. And you could do things like, set the tv to record a show while your not even at home.

    Are you using the beta app? If you are submit a bug through the app. Regardless I would uninstall and reinstall the app.

    Looks like the solution is the Media Remote they are releasing. Unfortunately its a cost to purchase, but we still have Smart Glass.

    I guess I will stick with my Smart Glass.

    You should be able to use the remote feature from the xbox app without having to connect

    In fact, it used to mirror what was displayed on the tv screen to your phone app.So if it's in a area to type it would pull it up on the phone.Now it's just the activity feed.What happened to the smart glass stuff

    It depends on how you're trying to change the channels. You can't use the remote to change the channels, since the Kinect is what receives the input to pass through the command for the TV, but you should be able to use the controller, and the Xbox smart
    glass app.
