Small dark rectangle appear screen on Xbox series x

Hello edwinismail, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I can certainly see where that would be annoying. I'm not sure the exact troubleshooting steps you've tried already but I'm going to suggest a couple of things below just in case you haven't tried them yet.

1. First, check the HDMI cable and make sure it's secure at both ends (console and TV). Try switching the ends around if you can or use a different HDMI port to see if that square remains. If it disappears with a new port the issue may be with your television.

2. Powercycle your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 30 seconds.

3. If you still see the black spot then try a factory reset on the console. There's an option to keep your installed games and apps and your saves will be safe on the Cloud. Please make sure that you know the email and password for all accounts on the console before doing this.

Do not use the app or bring over previous settings when you are prompted to do so.

which Xbox do you have? Xbox one X or Xbox series X? They are different things. Series X has the fan on one end of the rectangle

When hovering over the buy button in Microsoft store on GTA v series x|s a small text bar appears saying. This is not playable on this device.

But the store says GTA v series x|s is not playable on my Xbox one x.

Draw a rectangle of 19.2mm x 10.8mm & draw a second rectangle of 14.4mm x 7.2mm..

Then, x2 Zoom the 14.4mm x 7.2mm rectangle & see if it becomes a 19.2mm x 10.8mm rectangle...

I don't mean, double 14.4 x 7.2 either..

Also, on paper... Put the 14.4 x 7.2 Rectangle, behind the 19.2 x 10.8 Rectangle, in the corner & hold it up to the light... A perfect L, is formed & that tells you, what Refresh Ratio You need (3:1)

There is an option to insert text through the smartglass app. If you're on a forum thread via your xbox one, just move your cursor over the green rectangle box and select it. Then the on screen keyboard should appear on your android device for you to input
text.
