    Sluggish At Power On [Alpha Skip-Ahead]


    My console used to crash sometimes when I would boot up the console and resume a game. That issue seems to have been resolved, but now instead of crashing the console it's extremely sluggish immediately at startup to the point that apps won't open, network won't connect, and on at least one occasion the dashboard wouldn't load leaving the screen blank for about a minute. I can't even use the insider hub to report it.

    The current issue doesn't crash the system, but the only way to fix it (temporarily) is to hard reboot the console (holding power button on the console for 10 seconds).

    I've reported it a couple times but I'm not sure how helpful my reports are since I can't file a report while experiencing the issue, I have to do it after I bounced the console, which likely wipes out background data collected during the report.

    Is anybody else seeing this issue? Anybody have both memory issues - the console crash and the sluggish startup?

    Just wondering how common this is, and if there are any known fixes or mitigations.

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead
