Slow xbox

it’s very weird... I was playing casually and it was ok.

then the next day I wanted to see a movie so I put the DVD in the xbox and the blue ray app opens and it stay like that for a long time. So it’s taking way too much time so I completley turn off the xbox too reboot it and when I turn it back on it takes
for ever to open and nothing loads. Just overall it looks like the xbox indefinitly loading. I turn off the xbox and come back the next and it’s a bit better but still unusable. The next day I can open and play a game but everything loads weird and it says
my xbox live is expirering even tho I bought a one year subscription two months ago. Also, I can’t see any of my xbox friends in the menu, can’t see the texts I got from when I was playing but I can’t play online. And not wverything loads and I can’t access
to every thing. I still have 20% of free storage in my xbox and it has been higher, so I don’t think it’s that. It all started whaen I put the DVD, but it’s not a DVD from another country and the DVD works in a DVD player so it’s not broken or something like
that. So I don’t what caused it and I don’t know how to fix it.

basically, I put a DVD in my xbox and now it’s all slow and my xbox live is weird. The DVD should not be the problem and I did nothing to my xbox apart from putting the DVD. I don’t know what caused it and I don’t know how to fix it.

Could be from cache. Try to Power Cycle your console and see if worked.

Factory Reset while keeping your games and apps.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

Make sure you know the email and password for your accounts as you will be asked download them afterwards. Let us know if this helps!
