Slow Xbox one x (Not Series Console)

So I've posted a quick question before about my Xbox being slow, but this is insane at this point. The first thing I posted was a huge issue. And it did somewhat fix itself but every couple of days out of a few weeks, it starts to **** up and doesn't wanna download. I purchased gamepass ultimate but it did nothing. Well the main problem I'm having is that it's been very slow, doesn't like to update/ install anything unless I let it sit there for up to 5 hours then it'll start to update or install. Now I wouldn't mind if I didn't only get a day or two out the week to play games. But as busy as I am this is starting to become a serious hassle. I've factory reseted it multiple times. Both with my games and apps and with it fully erasing everything. But nothing fixes it. I go into blu-ray and clear persistent storage, nothing. I've tired of this Xbox but I don't have enough money to get a new one because me and my parents aren't having a good time lately with family and finance reasons. Sorry but if anyone could, please tell me if there's anything I could do to maybe get it better working. Please.

Fyi series consoles are just xboxes series x or s

Not xbox one series

Just to reduce the confusion

You gotta remember people mistake xbox one x for a series x when it comes to requirements for example flight simulator

With xbox one games they don't have a listing for s or x they are all compatible

Where series s or x just means digital or disk

Disk games don't work with series s or one s digital edition

Back to your problem.

Are you using an external hdd ?

Also when it slows down again is it because you are filling up your hdd?

As space becomes less computers do slow down

It would be better to get an external drive and put infrequent games on there so you don't too much things on your internal drive

Your drive will work the same on Series X as it does on Xbox One and you won't need to format it.

However, Series X games or Xbox One games with Series X enhancements will not run from that drive and will either need to be installed internally or to an external SSD designed for Series X/S.

Your hard drive will be too slow for Series X games. They can be stored there, but not run from there.

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

But as I logged into cold war it said, "please purchase to play campaign, multi-player, and zombies!" But the thing is I've already done that. It's just weird since I've never had this happen before. Not once in 4 years of using this xbox has anything happen. I'm gonna be calling customer support about this and see if they have anything to do with it or if they could help me solve this problem.
