    Slow Streaming even with a wired connection


    I was having slow wireless network speeds on my Xbox One S and was having issues with streaming apps such as The CW and FOX. I was getting blurry screams and buffering. I just wired my Xbox to my router and am getting mush faster speeds but am still getting
    issues streaming The CW. What could be causing that and how can I fix it?

    Odd Xbox Issue

    Thing is, my connection is fine. I even tested it during the slow down. My PC was perfectly capable of even streaming during it while I ran a test. Also, I don't think a connection has to do with my console freezing.

    Slow download and streaming speeds through Xbox 360

    can anyone help me with this. I have a wired Ethernet connection directly to my xbox from my broadband router. On speedtest via wifi I recieve approximately 50-60 Mbps upload of 10-20 mbps and a ping o 15-20. This has always been an issues even when I lived
    at a different address with a lot slower internet connection over wifi.

    Downloading games and movies etc take forever and recently Xbox video streaming has been bad too.

    Sounds like an issue with your router. Either some setting is preventing it from streaming correctly, or you just have one with a slow speed. Mine is 100Mbps with everything connected via wires and I've never had issues with streaming.

    Yeah i have done this and sometimes it changes it to open and other times not. I still don't really think it is a fix more just a glitch....idk why my netflix is streaming so slow then when it is wired to my router but my Roku which is upstairs in my room
    is streaming perfectly...still i think something is wrong with my xbox one connection

    The streaming works best when both the xbox and your streaming client have a wired connection.

    No you shouldn't. Unless it was a typo you said you are using a wired connection.

    Powerline adaptors just act as an ethernet extention for if a normal wired connection isn't practical.

    As you are already using wired you already have the best connection type.

    You slow speeds are probably because your internet connection is slow which would need to be fixed by your ISP.

    If you don't think your actual internet is slow because you only have slow speeds on xbox then start a new thread asking for help giving full details of your connection like ISP and brand name of router and modem.
