    Slow flashing after turning console off


    I hope somebody can help me. Recently whenever I power off my xbox series x (via my controller) it makes the power off sound but continues to slowly keep flashing and doesn't seem to stop until I manually press and hold the xbox button on the console. Can anyone help?

    console randomly returns to the dashboard and acts like it opening the disk try during a game.

    When i have to shut the console off to get it to stop, i have to wait until the console stops the slow light flashing and for it to turn off completely before turning it back on, if i just turn it off and right back on, the problem still persists.

    This could be 1 of two things as you know. It is updating/uploading or downloading your information to the cloud.

    It could also be your system cooling down. It is not an issue

    If you have something downloading when you shut it off and background downloads activated, the system will go into a low power mode when shut down and continue to download. The blinking power light is indicative of the low power mode.
