Slow ethernet speed with Xbox Series X

Hi, i just activated a 1 gbit fiber connection and i wanted to use it with my xbox.

I connected it via cable and the xbox speedtest goes up to only 380mbps.

I tried doing a speedtest on ookla and fast.com on the same xbox via edge and it reaches 700mbps.

I tried resetting and everything, it won't work.

Any help? thanks

Just wanted to let you know that this issue (as well as various others) has been addressed in the most recent Xbox Insider update, which is the Alpha Skip-Ahead version released today:

Network

Fixed an issue where network speeds were significantly slower than expected with recent updates.

So you can now rejoin the Insider program if you prefer and your download and upload speeds should be okay, especially if you’re on a wired connection with an Ethernet cable directly to your Series X console.

If the issue persists even after the update is installed and applied, perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable (ideally from both the wall outlet and the console itself) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset the power supply. Also reset your router and try all the recommended troubleshooting steps in this support guide:

Troubleshoot your network connection speed | Xbox Support

If you experience any further issues (or if the same network error returns), please create a bug report and include any relevant diagnostic data. You can add [Xbox Forums] to the title of the report, then share this here once complete.
