Slow downloads on xbox

Hi,

I'm having issues when I'm downloading / updating anything on my xbox one x.

I have good Internet, average speed of 140mbps. However, when I start an update, it starts downloading at 130mbps then it drops within 20 seconds to 1mbps or less. When I pause the download and start again it does the same, 130mbps down to 1mbps or lower.

Every so often when I pause and start again it hovers around 60mbps for around 5-10 minutes then drops again and the same process repeats.

I've tried resetting my WiFi, hard restarting xbox, looked online for solutions but nothing. I've tested network speed and statistics on my xbox and it is saying I have download speeds of 146mbps, 24ms latency, 1% packet loss, 100% strength and MTU 1480. Yet it will not download anywhere close to that speed?

I do speedtests on other devices and again, all showing around 146mbps. I know I'm going to get the generic xbox reply of 'have you reset your internet' etc. But please for once xbox, recognise this isn't a problem on my end.

I'm so close to giving up with this and going to other console / PC. It's taking days to download any updates as I don't fancy babysitting my xbox pausing and resuming to try and get 130mbps. - and to make it worse, while moving my xbox to get a wired connection (which turned out to be the exact same problem) my xbox decided to cancel the update and make me reinstall COD MW2 again.. the whole 65gb.

I have seen a similar post of someone having this problem on their series S, however there was no solution posted on that thread.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I've tried everything I can think of but maybe someone knows how to fix this problem.
