Slow download speeds on Xbox (Beta) App for PC

The download speeds on the Xbox app for the PC are extremely slow. If I use the Microsoft Store to download a product (Gears of War 4 for example) i get over 100mb/s download and even reaching over 200+ sometimes. Downloading the game on the Xbox app tops
out around 19mb/s for the same games. The advise on this site to "try switching to a wired connection" is useless since i'm on a desktop PC with no WiFi at all. Is there any way to uncap the download or should I just keep using the broken Microsoft Store app
since it had WAY better speeds?

This is the second time I hear this kind of problem, what was oriented was exactly that using a cable, but as you already use, it is complicated to say, probably is some problem straight from the app, I already have problems on the PC and some games I
can not download it.

Have you tried resetting the app? In search type Apps and Features, then click on the app, then click advanced options and from here you can reset and repair the app.

Lots of issues with lockdown everyday try exiting any loaded game i find downloads go faster

it could be due to the amount of people online at this time due to the lock down . Microsoft could have slowed things down a bit to help with congestion on the servers . 🤔

Hi XBF,

Thank you for the tips, I do note that these tips are for a actual Xbox whereas I use PC Xbox App. So definitely no games running. My brother uses actual Xbox in our house and his speeds are fine, over 30 mb/s it only seems to be the PC Xbox app that is slow at downloading (as noted I download games from Steam on same PC and speed is fine). Any recommendations?
