Slow download and streaming speeds through Xbox 360

can anyone help me with this. I have a wired Ethernet connection directly to my xbox from my broadband router. On speedtest via wifi I recieve approximately 50-60 Mbps upload of 10-20 mbps and a ping o 15-20. This has always been an issues even when I lived
at a different address with a lot slower internet connection over wifi.

Downloading games and movies etc take forever and recently Xbox video streaming has been bad too.

Xbox 360 download speeds slow

Hi,

My Xbox 360 download speeds are very slow. This is affecting video streaming, which doesn't work. I have already gone through the troubleshooting steps mentioned here: Xbox Live Streaming Problems | Fix Xbox Streaming Quality Issues
but nothing has helped. See picture below. My download speed is only 0.92 Mbps. Upload speed is much higher. Any help would be appreciated.

slow downloads

i'm trying to download a tv series and it's so slow. less than half the speed of streaming what's up with that?

Same here, streaming HD videos do not work properly any more. Tried also through PC with Video app. Same, drops to the SD, jams, have to restart several times to continue. Previously (like 6 months ago) worked well, but now when I would like to watch some
videos they time out with Xbox360 several times, with PC it is easier to restart the video but kills the mood effectively. Download speeds works around 90 Mbps, so it is not the internet connection, it is poor performance on video library servers.

Your xbox will have slow downloading speeds if someone is streaming something on the same network. Make sure no-one is watching Netflix or something and your speeds will be much faster.

It's likely it's your connection speeds that are the issue. FIFA 15 is a 12.7GB game.

The minimum recommended download speed for Live is 3Mbps, at which speed FIFA 15 would take about 10 hours to download. And that's assuming you hit peak speeds the whole way through. So if you also have other devices (laptops, phones, tablets, TVs) on the
network (particularly if they're streaming or downloading something sizeable), that will obviously slow down your download speeds and increase the time taken significantly.

These games are much bigger than their 360 counterparts and will take much longer to download.

you may be connecting at 5Mbps but sustained download can fluctuate a lot and will usually be a little lower than your connection speed.

if qos is enabled on the router this can also slow down download speeds if others are streaming or gaming in the household.
