Sleeping Dogs - On demand - Download issue.

Hi,

I have "purchased" Sleeping Dogs long time ago, back when it was available on Games with Gold. Yesterday I wanted to Download it, but the download progress bar reaches 76% and stops the download saying the HDD is full.

I freed some space, so I had 15 GB free in total. Started the download again, but when the progres bar reached 76% it turned back to 0 again. I left my console on standby for the night. In The morning I checked HDD and it said "corrupted file".

I tried every proposed solution - deleted the file, deleted the marketplace sztuk file in profile directory, cleared cache and restarted console. Tried downloaded it from download history, but its all the same. I also tried to download it on my USB flash
- unfortunately same result. Its not the HDD issue. Its not the licensing issue as this is the same account, same console that I download it first when it showed up in Games with Gold. Besides, other games downloads normally and working without any issue.

Any advice? Maybe someone who. also bought this game could try downloading it from the marketplace, to see if its some Kind of server issue or the file on the server.

Any other sugestiami highly appreciated.

Sleeping Dogs Download Help

I have the same problem. I'm downloading Sleeping Dogs from Live BR and the download stops at 64%. When I try downloading it again, an error message shows up: Can't download Sleeping Dogs.

Please solve this!

 

New game

Well if you like open sandbox games like GTA and Sleeping Dogs there's always the Saints Row games. I think Saints Row 2 is available on Games on Demand.

Back when the game was available in GWG my account was Polish. I moved to UK and I migrated my account to UK also. Dont know if that might have caused this issue, but like I've said - other games downloads without trouble as I've tried Saints Row 3 and its
all good.

 

Thanks for the info. It sounds like this may be a region issue. You should double check to make sure that your account has fully migrated to the UK as some games cannot be downloaded to a region other than what it was intended.

 

Basically sleeping dogs is region locked to poland where you made the purchase

And yes region locked content doesn't transfer between region it would've been better for you to keep the original download

 

Ah, so basicly theres no way for me to download it now here in the UK? This means that the only way for me to play it is to buy physical copy? Additionally there may be more games like this that are region locked? Can I "exchange" the games to make them
work here in UK?

 

Most triple a games anything without extreme violence and other sensitive topics on 360 which means most of the games with gold for 360

Keep in mind your future titles won't have ian issue till you delete them . and have to redownlosd then while not in the original region
