Sleeping dogs achievement bug “Cursed Gold”

I just finished completing all the challenges with gold but the achievement didn't drop.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

According to Xbox support: "If you completed the requirements to unlock the achievement on your console, but it doesn't show, it might not be synchronised with the Xbox network. Allow up to 72 hours for this synchronisation to take place."

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below to ensure that you're connected to Xbox Live:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

It's not going to be Just Cause 2. The Games for Gold games are Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

If you are referring to the additional achievements on Sleeping Dogs they are only available through purchase and download of the corresponding DLC packs which are nightmare in north point and the year of the snake. Also there isn't anything called a platinum
achievement on Xbox.

DigitalAssassin is correct, there is no platinum achievements on Xbox LIVE / Xbox 360. I think what you may be mixing this up with is the trophy system on the PS3 / PSN were players are rewarded a platinum trophy for maxing out all of the other trophies
in a game.

Either way, congrats on maxing out the main game achievements!
