    SKYRIM XBOX ONE S SCRIPT LAG! PLEASE HELP! MODS


    So right off the bat, as the title says, I'm on Xbox. I don't know where else to turn. Every Google result is PC based (like use console commands and such (not avail on Xbox)). I looked through multiple threads, many seem to point towards disabling lighting/weather mods, which i have done. Still every time i try to use a shout/power, it delays for a few seconds before realizing i input a command and then proceeding with it. Likewise when deactivating aforementioned shout/power

    It's only 140 mods (compared to the 300+ I've seen other users mention), many performace ehancers and optimizers. I started a new game too. I can't even tell if my load order is good because xbox doesn't have that program that PC users enjoy (LOOT? i think it's called?)m so I'm really at a loss.

    Please don't recommend console commands or "just get it for PC" - if I could, i would've done this a long time ago and saved myself 6-11 years of this tedious bs lol

    Are you using Mods? If so it might be a bad Script in a specific Mod not optimized for Xbox One.

    ^Except that Microsoft and Bethesda don't decide what can be created. If somebody creates something that picks up and is required for the majority of mods to work and it can't end up running on console the whole mod feature is essentially dead except for
    basic stuff. Fallout 3 and New Vegas both has a script extender (+Skyrim) that is required for most mods and it will not work period unless it's launched separately.

    Nexus Mods on Skyrim Special Edition for PC

    BTW, I just got it to work using Vortex from NexusMods as per one reply. I believe the issue was the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64) not being enabled. Without it being enabled, any mods I would enable, Vortex would state that the plugin was invalid.

    I uninstalled Vortex and did a clean install and now it works. Of course, that means achievements are disabled due to the mods, but it does work!
