Skyrim Inventory Lag on load into a save

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

To fix this, unplug your controller, plug it back in, then save your game and load your game.

Unplugging the controller makes the game back out of your inventory and saving afterwards prevents it from happening anymore. If you didn't save, the next time you loaded up Minecraft it would continue to freeze at the inventory screen.

yeap morrowind taught me the wonders of making your saves take up less space.

shut every door/gate behind you.

dont leave random stuff on the ground.

pick up enemy weapons that fall out of there hand and drop it in their inventory.

and most importantly never ever save over a save; ive heard it keeps the memory of the original save which in turn creates longer load times and a higher chance for freezing.

also not sure if this applies to oblivion but in skyrim ive noticed if you have alot of diffrent saves, each save takes a little longer to load [ex if you have 400 seprate saves, all those save take longer to load.] but if you have say 20 saves load times
will be fine.

I'm having the exact same issues with Skyrim on a On Demand copy! There is NO DVD and I still get "Disc Unreadable" whenever I load a save. This is not an xbox hardware issue, something with Skyrim itself is buggy.

I can start a new game fine, save.. and load those saves. But trying to load my previous saves crashes. I've tried from USB, Cloud Saves, and hard drive. All fail.

I would suggest loading an earlier save. Skyrim is loaded with various bugs and glitches. Hopefully you have a fairly recent save prior to that quest.
