    Sky Q and Xbox One S Help!


    Can anyone help me? I got a new Sky Q mini box installed the other day and have been trying to get it to work through my Xbox One S.

    I’ve tried different cables, both boxes are running the latest software, and both boxes are working perfectly fine when plugged directly into my TV.

    The issue is when I setup the One Guide, it sees the box and will let me set it up, I even get the little preview video box proving it will play the video from the Sky Q box.

    But when I click on the Live TV option in Entertainment it does absolutely nothing! Nada, zilch!

    What am I doing wrong? Is this how I watch the Sky Q box input?

    4K Pass-through on Xbox One S?

    Can confirm this is the case here, too. Doesn't work with Sky Q or any 4K-output device.

    Can confirm this is the case here, too. Doesn't work with Sky Q or any 4K-output device.

    Can I chime into this too please and confirm I have the same problem. I'm current working with "Irish" on your support team, but we are not making much headway. I too contact your support team prior to purchasing an Xbox One S and was assured this would
    work. I am not happy to say the least as being able to unify my sources to a single HDMI feed to my TV was one of the main reasons I purchasing this One S.

    Xbox One X won't play 4K from Sky Q through input and output HDMI Connection

    The Sky Q box will only be able to see what it is plugged into, in your case its plugged into the Xbox One X.

    Why don't you plug the Sky Q box into the TV, let the box "discover" your LG TV, once the Sky box knows what sort of picture it can display then plug the Sky output into the Xbox One X input.

    We've recently had sky Q installed and two miniboxes. The problem is now that the speed of the internet is slow for where my xbox one is in the house. The main sky q box already has an ethernet cable connection to one of the minibox number 1 to improve the
    connection speed elsewhere in the house.

    My query is how do I improve the speed of my xbox internet connection - can i run an ethernet cable to a sky q minibox (number 2)? I can't run the cable to the main sky q box as it already has an ethernet cable going to minibox 1.

    Or could I use a splitter on the back of the main sky q box - one to continue to go to minibox 1 and another cable direct to the xbox?
