Single player *ENDING*

OK is the ending still glitched or broken?? because I just sacrificed the Chinese girl an saved the Valkyrie an nothing happened other than the Chinese BOAT blowing up, I thought I was suppose to get a achievement at LEAST!

Unlock QBZ-95-1 (Multiplayer): Sacrifice the Valkyrie

Unlock P90 (Multiplayer): Sacrifice Hannah

Unlock M249 (Multiplayer): Sacrifice Irish

This site says that you get a MP unlock?? I finised on Hard an there dosnt even seem to be an achievement for that??

single player?

I've heard good and bad. Haven't played it yet but I always enjoy cod series and it looks good. Also your decisions in the game dictate what happens and you can get multiple endings supposedly so thats cool

 

Single player .....

Some constructive criticism:

1. The scripted scenes are annoying and long.

2. The fight scenes are just silly, its not even like you are playing, you just have to hit the button they tell you to hit which has no bearing on the actual movements. Lame!

3. The AI enemies aren't placed on the map at the load time, they just appear. Sometimes they continue to just appear, there is a part where you can sit and shoot a guy on the second floor of a building and another guy will appear, and another, and another,
and another etc.. Oh and the old annoyance where the bodies disappear "magically".

Actually there is a part at the villa (when you are Russian) where if you get shot and re-spawn, there is a guy at the top of the stairs who you shoot, your guys run past then an enemy magically appears right in the middle of the boxes on your left.

The whole enemies thing is tacky and poorly done in my opinion.

4. The entire single player experience is like an on rails walk-through, no way to take advantage of the frostbite engine with a destructible environment.

5. The tank sequence is again scripted so you can only do what they specifically want you to be doing, you can't hop out and run around or get up on the guns, very annoying.

6. The jet sequence had to have been the ultimate let down, I mean REALLY you add jets and the single player experience is to ride in the back!

7. There is a part where you are getting away from the PLR, you are following another soldier and at one point he magically hotfoots it across the map, you are then there on your own fighting your way through this part to catch up with him and all of a sudden
you will just die. You won't have been shot, you wont have any clue as to the reason, you just die. Turns out (well as far as I can ascertain) if you take too long to get across this part of the map you die. Poor and very tacky.

8. The single player experience is very short, as usual.

The graphics are awesome, no one will dispute this, it all looks beautiful and probably worth the experience for the visuals, although I have an older Xbox and it does seem to stall every now and then, I guess it is struggling a bit.

I have briefly tried the multiplayer and it seems ok except for the total lack of playing spaces, it took me around 20 minutes to get into a game having to sit in the queue. Lets hope that gets fixed when they fix the matchmaking option that isn't working.

In summary and totally my own opinion, if I had played this game previous to buying or previewed it in single player, I definitely wouldn't have bought it.

Oh and anyone who is thinking about buying this game second hand, BUYER BEWARE, they have chucked in a little nasty. There is a code included with the game to allow you as a single user to play online, I am guessing it is a single use code, otherwise you
are up for coughing up for a bunch of Microsoft points just to let you play the multiplayer online, that on top of your Live Gold subscription.
