Since the last update my xbox series s decided to become a plain old xbox one.. Why?

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. Can you tell what specific games are you having issue launching with?

2. When did the issue start?

3. Has there been any changes with the device before this issue happen?

We appreciate for trying some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue and despite performing those steps, the issue still persists. We are going to consult this to our internal support team so that this can be investigated further once you have provided us the lists of games affected.

As per our support article, getting an error 0x87e50033, this may mean that there’s a temporary issue that can be resolved by restarting the game or app. You may try the troubleshooting steps below once more and if the issue still persists, let us know as soon as possible so we can move forward.

• To resolve this error, try launching the game or app again:
  
  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
     
  2. Highlight the game or app you’re trying to launch and press the Menu button.
     
  3. Select Quit. If “Quit” is not available, then it’s already closed.
     
  4. Wait at least 10 seconds, and then try starting the game or app again.

I did the same thing on my old Xbox one s and it didn’t work. I did literally everything. The last dude from Microsoft I asked literally told me to get it checked up. That’s why I decided to buy a new Xbox series x, this is why I think it’s an account issue

I have a mix of xbox ones, xbox one s, xbox one x, xbox series s and xbox series x. I have 18 xboxes trying to download a game update with that many xboxes becomes a huge hassle time sync.

X/S is for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, these are the new gen consoles, a lot of new games are now being released on the newer consoles only, and that game is one of them. you will need to request a refund from your purchase history.

The Xbox one Family consist of

Xbox One

Xbox One S

Xbox One X

these consoles are technically old and becoming obsolete.
