    Since recent preview update, after hard reset the controller turns the xbox back on


    since a recent preview/insider update that has applied, when I need to hard reset my xbox (I do this sometimes but then just leave it off for the night) the xbox controller light continues to flash as if it's trying to reconnect to the xbox, which then leads
    to my xbox turning itself back on also, was wondering if anyone else had this problem and/or there is a fix for this??

    My Xbox One need to be restarted to work properly

    Hi,

    I have no sound and also the controller is not responding after I turn on the xbox from instant-on mode. I have to hold the power button to do a hard reset before I have sound and the controller is working again. Could this be after a recent software update?
    or could it be hardware failure? Have to do this every time I am turning on my Xbox

    Wireless Connectivity completely disabled.

    I am in the Xbox One Preview Program, and I just got a new Xbox One Elite 5 days ago. (07/06/2016) I got the preview program update 2 days after. Ever since the update, my controllers are barely able to connect to the xbox one. I have an elite controller
    and the master chief controller. They are both up to date with controller updates.

    I cannot do any of the following: Connect a controller wirelessly, Use the Xbox home button to report a problem & turn the console/controller off.

    After the Xbox has been soft reset, the controllers will not work even if they are plugged in with a cable.

    A hard reset temporarily fixes the problem until I turn the xbox off.

    This is easily the most frustrating thing that has happened to me in terms of xbox. This console is BRAND NEW, it didn't have any problems until AFTER THE UPDATE.

    PLEASE fix this problem. I have reported it numerous times, but it has yet to be added to the "known issues."

    Is the xbox 1 x controller suposed to turn on the xbox one x console?

    It's been an issue for some people since a recent update. Try plugging the controller into the console and performing a hard reset (hold the power button down for 10 seconds until the console turns off, unplug the power cord for the console, plug it back
    in and turn it back on)

    I have recently had problems with the controller with not wanting to connect to my Xbox One recently as well. What I did to resolve it was doing a hard reset (turning off and unplugging) on the Xbox One. After the hard reset, my controller was working as
    normal.

    I cannot guarantee that a hard reset would work, but it's a great shot to try and fix the problem.

    yes ive had this problem recently too. Have had issues with films and tv since e3, and this is the latest from recent preview updates. Thought i was the only one! Tried hard resetting and unplugging for 5 mins, but it hasnt helped.

    I have an Xbox one and it is resetting now after days of the green screen of death. It wouldn't update, reset or finish opening until i reset it but it had been 2 days since I chose to reset it and it has still only gotten to 50% and then turns itelf off.
    Sometimes, it even turns itself back on only to reach 50 and shut off again. It states no errors and is the current 2019 version. Please help I wanna play R6 °~°
    If you are part of the Xbox insider preview, offline updates will not work.
