    Sims freezes when moving an object and a pop up happens


    Sims Xbox. I have had this happen a few times so hopefully I can stop reboot. If I am moving an object and a pop up happens (i.e. tonight moving a plate to the trash and a book title appeared), I can't click OK and can't put the plate down. I have tried hitting random buttons. Even the resetsim combo. The menu. The screen toggle. Nothing works but a reboot and tears for not saving often. Any ideas?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Maybe I am not actually on wifi when I play.... this has happened many times and the window that pops up on reboot shows both previous saves matching.

    Oh, that may cause issues. Were you able to perform the powercycle?

    Map editor freezing

    I have this problem. I find it mostly happens when moving, duplicating objects or placing/removing foliage. It freezes more often the longer the game is played. Cause when I first start up the game it will work for about an hour, but after that it will freeze
    at least every 10 to 15 mins. It's becoming quite the pain since I love map editor :|
