    Hi JohnnytheP. Yes, you are right. Sims University is an expansion pack to Sims 4, so you do need the main game to use unfortunately.

    If you are not interested in purchasing The Sims 4, i would recommend contacting Support and request a refund for the purchase at https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us.

    Is it an xbox gift card from the correct country? And are there any taxes that go over the limit of your card? If you don't see these as any issues, contact xbox support! There's live agents to talk to and sort your problem out with :)

    Sometimes Digital stuff is cheaper. The Sims 4 expansion packs for PC on EA NZ's website are cheaper than what all retailers here are charging.
