Silly Mum got involved in setting the Xbox up

Hello

I hope someone can help. I set my sons brand new Xbox One up last night. With absolutely zero expertise in consoles! The console gave him an auto generated username which I didn’t like the sound of It was :Tragic Sumo then loads of numbers. So I changed
it just to hide the tragic bit as I didn’t think it was appropriate.

He’s just told me he tried to change the name his morning and it’s saying we will need to pay! I can’t believe this as there was no pop up to warn me last night that this could only be changed once. And last night I just wanted to get the console set up
so that he could try it out before bedtime.

Is there anyway Xbox would wave this as it wasn’t my sons fault was mine (silly Mum!).

is it possible to track a code from a previous receipt for xbox gold that was not redeemed silly mum threw it out

Do They Use OpenSSL on This Site?

My mum got one for Yahoo. It didn't give the location but the time was 4am. I monitor my mums emails to make sure she don't mess stuff up. Shes not tech savvy. Scum indeed mate, scum indeed!

Afraid not.

When you create a account it is given a randomly generated gamertag,you get to change from that to a gamertag of your choosing once for free.Any other changes must be paid for.It does tell you this.

Same thing is happening to my xbox, I got to my friends house set it up and game online, go to my mums house set it up and game online then when I go to my dads it will connect to network but not the internet or live and i reset my router and xbox alot of
times but its not working and my laptop and phone works perfectly on the internet

Family Timer is an option under Family Settings. A parental account on the Xbox would have to have set it up. I suggest talking to your mum, rather than trying to reset anything, you know?

My account was set up in my parents microsoft account 7 years ago, now i have my own i can't change it to move over to Xbox One, the account has been moved but i am called by my mums name, also am told that i have to wait 30 days to change it and my mum
can't let up her own account on xbox one because i have hers. Please help!
