XBOX ONE Sign in problems

For a while now whenever I turn on my Xbox I'll either sign into xbox live but can't sign into my profile or vice versa. The only way I can sign into both is to either do a hard reset on my console if the profile doesn't log in or unplug the Ethernet cable and re-plug it in if its not connecting to Xbox live. Does this happen to anyone else? I started thinking that maybe its because my 1yr old had been turning my system off and on rapidly a few times before I could curb this behavior. Any thoughts? I've reset my modem countless times so its not that.......

Hello StolenPlace3669,

thank you for posting on xbox forums am truly sorry your experiencing signing issues, by looking at the Xbox servers all servers are up and running.

So what were going to do is Factory reset:

Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.

Select keep apps and games

Also Reset your router to by pressing on the reset button.

I had the same problem I went to that link and did all the steps the controller update is the one that finally worked,even though it said my controller was up to date I hit update anyways and it worked immediately. Pass it on

have you found a solution? mine is doing the same but it isn't showing the message, the message comes up for less than a second then goes again. I've been trying to sign in since last night. I've done everything people have told me like cold starting it,
resetting it and unplugging everything.

disconnect your internet, boot your console, once booted remove the profile and full shut down. Once powered down reconnect Internet and reboot console and when back up add your profile back

if this doesn't work, factory reset from system settings>console info

i have the same issue on Xbox One X, auto off after 3 to 4 min, did the factory reset, its auto off on 50%, do it few times also auto off at 50%. Then i do the OSU 1, its auto off at 86%.... i only got the OSU 1 file, dont have the OSU 2 file.
