Signed up for goove music service. Didn't get promotional offer of three months free ...

The promotion I and some friends signed up for stated that you would get 1-month Free and then a 3-month free code via email. It did not say you had to buy a month to get the 3-month code.

Contacted CHAT SUPPORT and they informed me that promotion never existed since "what reason would a company give away 4 months of service for free?"

So it seems that if you signed up for the 1-month free service, you do not get the 3-months Free as the ad on the XBOX ONE stated. If you bought the 1-month service and did not get the 3-month code.....that is even stranger if what CHAT SUPPORT stated is
the case.

Actually, this current promotion has a card in the box. My friend got one.

The other option people are referring to is for newly created accounts only. The first three accounts created get a one shot free month offer as they sign up.

The current consoles being sold, that advertise a 1 month, should have a card in the box somewhere, and it can be used on a new account or already existing one.

I signed up or the free 1 month subscription on 12 August 2016., in response to the unsolicited email from Microsoft which stated:-

So having signed up on the 12 August (before the 17th August deadline) I await the code for the 3 months free pass.

Been communicating with Microsoft since the 7th Sept 2016 concerning this issue, firstly with Microsoft Billing Support (with an agent called Jell B), then the Microsoft Answer Desk (ref # 1354697697) than the X-Box forum with Lady Ross (Service Request
1354698403 ) then on this forum. Getting a little frustrated.

The music groove promotion was only avaliable for first time user here is a link to check to see if it is the same promotion that you had. Sometime you just have to read the fine print to see what youre signing up for

Hello, I'm afraid that if you didn't accept the offer of a free month for any reason you cannot then go back and get the free month. You could create a new account and accept the free month if you wish.
