    Signed into the same account but keep getting 'Accounts in Microsoft Store and Launcher do...


    As the title states. I have tried logging again. Reinstalling my launcher and I am unsure what other steps I need to take to fix this. Including restarting my pc. I have made sure it's the same account multiple times and I still keep getting this message. If I need to give more information I will be happy to give it. Just need some help with this problem thank you in advance.

    I am currently on a pc with Windows 11 but I have the launcher and same account on another pc but it's on Windows 10. Not sure if that could cause any issues.

    Are you sure you are logged into the Microsoft Store with the same Microsoft Account used to sign in to Minecraft Launcher?

    Hello,

    If you have the Xbox App, sign out first at the Microsoft Store App and sign in with the account you wish to play with. Then do the same on the Xbox App, completely sign out, then sign in with the account you wish you with to play with. Then in the Minecraft Launcher sign out completely then attempt to log back in with your Microsoft Account. Let me know if you're still having issues, we can try something else.

    Minecraft: Java Edition launcher crashes upon Microsoft sign-in

    Hello @Kathy A,

    Doing both suggestions at the same time worked for me (I'm on Windows 10, btw)

    I was experiencing the same issue. When I signed in on my MS account, the launcher just closed.

    For the guys still experiencing this issue, these are the steps I took to get there:

    - Opened the Microsoft Store, clicked on "Library", selected 'All' and there was a button at the top right that read "Get updates". Clicked on that.

    - Opened Xbox Console Companion, selected "MY Games", and ran the Minecraft Launcher from there.

    - Inside the Launcher, I clicked Log in with Microsoft Account, selected "Switch Account", then clicked on "Use a different account" and again typed my Microsoft account there. The launcher didn't close and I could play again!

    You may want to consider checking your Microsoft store app if you're currently logged in using the same Microsoft account.

    Also, when you signed in on minecraft.net/login and sign in using the account that you're on the Minecraft launcher, click "My games" on the left panel, what option do you get for the Java edition?

    Hi! I'm actually having the issue of not being able to sign out at the Minecraft Launcher! I try to switch accounts by clicking the option but it simply does not work.
