Sign me out for minecraft ? how to do it ?

i recently changed my password and clicked on sign me out in my microsoft account because i use it in my parents phone and alot of device (my parents are not that careful with thier devices)
After changing the password minecraft didnt ask me to log in with my new password but actually it worked just fine even in online servers and i noticed before that adding my minecraft account to my computer didnt show up in the activity page
how can i be sure i wasnt hacked and how can i use a "Sign me out" for minecraft

Just to confirm, when you went to your computer Windows after this change, the system asked you to type the new password?

i found that changingmy password actually removed my account from the game but that was after about a day so it asked my for the new password but after a day. I didnt know if it worked but after i see it works but just takes alot of time i am more relieved thank you for the help <3

I asked that due to every time you change the password it is required everywhere
Can take a while, but the system always do it
