Sign in won't work on Xbox.com

I have the Xbox app on my phone, and it says in order to join a club I need to change my privacy and online safety settings on Xbox.com. The thing is, it won't let me sign in on Xbox.com. Clicking the "Sign in" at the top of the screen does nothing, and
clicking anything that says "My account" or "My profile" just redirects to this page:

I've tried clicking the link to the "Xbox settings" that is on that page, but it just goes back to that same page. It doesn't go anywhere I can change my Xbox settings, but shows me the page I was just on. I've tried signing in with my Microsoft account,
but I still can't find where I can change my settings.

No, my account is not a child's on a family account. It says that I am an adult on my family's account, not a child.

Sorry your having this issue. Is your account a child's on a family's account? If so, this is why you can't change the setting. Only the parent account can make any changes to your privacy setting.

Yes, I was able to login to Microsoft using the link you provided.

I'm sorry to hear about your Xbox App sign in / privacy safety settings issue.

I would first suggest trying on a different browser or a totally different device.

If that doesn't work, try signing into your Microsoft account by clicking on this link:
MICROSOFT SIGN IN

Let us know if you're able to sign in successfully there.

That will let us know if you're having login / sign in issues or not.

Hey there Silver,

Sorry to hear you are running into these issues when trying to update the child accounts settings. In order to manage the Privacy settings on the child account you will need to go through Microsoft.com.

Go ahead and follow the steps on "Change your child's Xbox privacy and Online safety settings"
for more information on updating.
