Sign in problem after update Xbox360

Hi I've just done a update on my 360. After it was completed it told me to upgrade my security took my phone number and text me a code. I get a message

I've tried text twice and call 1 time with same message. What should I do?

What hapen,I have same problem now.hard xbox360 original unformatted after update.i know many friends whit that problem after that update.what update is that,I lose all my saves games.

 

Minecraft xbox one edition aquatic update

Minecraft xbox360 edition is suppose to get the aquatic update. Will I still be able to import worlds from the xbox360 edition to the xboxOne edition after xbox360 gets the aquatic update?

 

had the same error code. no amount of tries w/ email or text would work. Eventually deleted and re-downloaded my profile....and presto was able to connect to xbox live. You might also have to clear your HDD cache too. I think I did that step somewhere
in my struggles as well.

 

First of all, go to
https://account.live.com/Proofs/Manage and check that your security info is accurate and up to date. Remove or update outdated phone numbers or emails.

Ideally, if you want to make your account basically hacking proof, scroll down a bit and enable Two Step Verification, and set up a free Authenticator App on your smartphone.

That way, whenever you or a hacker tries to sign into your account from a new device, a code has to be entered, that only your phone can provide. Unless the hacker manages to also physically steal your phone, they can't get into your account.

One thing you need to know however is, that the Xbox 360 can't request the second authenticator token (yet), so you'll have to scroll down even further, and create a so called "App Password".

After creating that app password, go to your console settings, and under storage clear the system cache by pressing Y on any storage device and choosing the clear system cache option.

Then find your Gamertag Profile on the storage device, and delete it.

WARNING!!! The console will ask if it should delete content associated with the profile. DO NOT let the console delete that associated content!!! Let it delete the PROFILE ONLY!!!

Then, after the profile is deleted, press the Guide button, and choose "Download Profile"

Provide your profile's Microsoft Account email, and the APP PASSWORD instead of your regular password.

Let the console download your profile, and you're done!
